The TPS7A8101EVM-093 evaluation module (EVM) helps you evaluate the performance of the TPS7A8101 low-noise, wide-bandwidth, high-PSRR, low-dropout 1-A linear regulator with enable. The EVM is a stand alone evaluation module containing a low-dropout regulator IC for adjustable voltage regulation at 1 A, input and output capacitors for stable operation, a noise-reduction capacitor, and header-connectors for easy connection to external test and application circuitry.

Introduction 

The TPS7A8101EVM evaluation module helps designers evaluate the operation and performance of the TPS7A8101 adjustable-output LDO. Because the TPS7A8101 is adjustable, the EVM has been designed to provide several common output voltages which can be selected using an onboard jumper. The EVM can provide output voltages of 1.8 V, 2.5 V, 2.8 V or 3.3 V using the jumper. Other output voltages can be evaluated but require changing the feedback resistors.
